sarah o'brien: Sarah O’Brien, born in Ireland, 1980. Her practice focuses on painting based installation. She has exhibited in selected group shows in Ireland and Europe, and has had solo shows at Pallas Contemporary Projects (PCP), Dublin and Draiocht Arts Centre, Dublin. Among selected group exhibitions Sarah took part in Holding Together (2010) at the Douglas Hyde Gallery, Dublin which celebrated 50 years of the Modern Art Collection at Trinity College. Sarah completed an MA in Fine Art (Painting) at NCAD in 2007 and concluded a postgraduate diploma in education methodologies at DIT in 2012. In March 2011 Sarah was awarded a project studio at Temple Bar Galleries and Studios, Dublin. She is currently spending some months in Berlin.
